Key responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and govern large-scale SAP transformation programs, ensuring strategic alignment, architectural consistency, and successful delivery of complex enterprise-wide digital initiatives
• Lead strategic HR IT transformation programs by driving multi-year SAP and integrated HR system initiatives, ensuring alignment with HR and IT strategy, application architecture, and SAP standards while reducing custom developments
• Manage a portfolio of major HR IT initiatives, including SAP implementations (HCM, Payroll, EC, S/4HANA), API/middleware integrations, and end-to-end digital HR process design with cross-organizational impact
• Define and govern HR IT architecture and delivery, overseeing governance frameworks, architecture decisions, change management, solution feasibility, scalability, integration strategy, and compliance with data protection and risk requirements
• Coordinate delivery and vendor management, leading cross-functional teams (internal, nearshore, offshore, vendors), managing SAP partners in collaboration with DT IT, and building scalable delivery and knowledge transfer models
• Drive executive stakeholder engagement and decision-making, facilitating roadmap, prioritization, and budget discussions, ensuring strong executive and board-level reporting, and recommending new technologies, upgrades, and standardization opportunities
Experience and Skills required
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading large-scale SAP transformation programs
- Deep understanding of SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, EC, Payroll, and system integration landscapes
- Proven success in leading large-scale, cross-country digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with hybrid project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills; ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at executive level
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
