Platform Administrator

Purpose of the job:

The goal of the project is to modernize the internal controlling and forecast software and processes of Telekom Deutschland GmbH using a new state of the art cloud-based forecasting software. You will join the project as we are in the phase of setting up the platform and relevant operational processes. You will drive the digitalization of our finance department.

Your main accountabilities:

  • Administration and maintenance of the internal forecasting software
  • Monitoring of the forecasting platform and addressing common issues
  • Automating routine tasks and subtasks and knowledge sharing with team members to allow them to take advantage of new efficiencies
  • Troubleshooting, support and helping facilitate updates to the forecasting software in close collaboration with vendors
  • Meaningful contribution to process improvement within the new forecasting software

Competence Profile:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Mathematics or a related degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a Platform Administrator or in a similar role
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Reporting and Planning software
  • Comprehensive skills within OLAP databases or any multidimensional databases is beneficial
  • Language: Fluent written and spoken English, German skills would be an advantage
